Alexander Sigel writes that the deadline for paper submissions is fast approaching for the third annual German Perl Workshop. Extended abstracts for full talks (30 minutes, plus 15 minutes for discussion) and pre-conference tutorials will expire October 23, 2000. Send submissions to mailto:wsorga@perlworkshop.de.

The German Perl Workshop is a non-commercial and low-cost convention of German-speaking Perl geeks. The third annual workshop is scheduled to take place Feberuary 28 through March 2, 2001, at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Sankt Augustin (near Bonn, the former Capital), Germany. The workshop, in cooperation wtih Yet Another Society, aims at fostering exchange and social networking between Perl module developers and advanced Perl users in the German-speaking Perl community (and beyond).
