Eh. I'd rather that both be removed from the header entirely. I can already see these in my node title ala "%N: %T (%S)" which shows the id and type just fine. I don't like that they clutter up the HTML with extra links. Of course, this is all preferences. Go patch this however it makes the most sense for you.
