Of course, this is disregarding that Tarochial connotation for Fool, which is someone blithely wanders through life with n'ary a care in the world.

Ironically, I'd argue that the OP of this thread fits the Eco definition of "fool" (you know, with the world being divided into cretins, morons, fools and lunatics).
