Well here is a little Perl program to calculate e to N decimal places to get you started.

sub e { $N=pop;$a[$_]=int(1+1/$_)for 1..$N;for(;$N>9;print int$x) {for($n=$N--;--$n;$a[$n]=$x%$n,$x=10*$a[$n-1]+$x/$n){}} } e(1000);

When you get there you will find the question.

Congratulations. You've made it to level 2. Go to www.xxxxx.org and en +ter xxxxxxxxxxx as the login and the answer to this equation as the p +assword. f(1)= xxxxxxxxxx f(2)= xxxxxxxxxx f(3)= xxxxxxxxxx f(4)= xxxxxxxxxx f(5)= __________

Now when you solve that you get to see:

Congratulations. Nice work. Well done. Mazel tov. You've made it to Google and we're gl +ad you're here. One thing we learned while building Google is that it's easier to find + what you're looking for if it comes looking for you. What we're look +ing for are the best engineers in the world. And here you are. [snip]

You have to hand it to them, it will be fascinating to see how the upcoming Search wars turn out. I don't know if M$ can compete with the level of creativity we are seeing out of Google.

cheers
