I just found a cool app for Mac OS X called PerlPad. It allows Perl code to be run as a Mac OS X service, which allows you to do all sorts of cool Perl-ish things on-the-fly using input from just about anything such as the clipboard, an HTML textbox, text editor, etc. Definitely check it out if you're a Mac user.
If anybody's using PerlPad already, how about posting some cool snippets you use with it?
