Monks,

I want to start out saying please don't upvote this node. That is not my intention. On to the point.

I just received a very detail response: Re: Building a Hash with Multiple Values to one of my posts by the excellent monk graff. I was very grateful that anyone would spend that much time on something knowing they would not receive any type of monetary compensation. I wanted to do something to show my appreciation, so I donated $25 in his name (hmm, comments don't seem to show up in the Fund Drive Details.) Anyway, when I looked at how much the Fund Drive has raised in the past 12 months, I was a bit sadden to see only $370.

I just wanted to ask anyone who has never contributed or those who have not in awhile, to try and give something. I know without Perlmonks I would have given up learning Perl a long time ago and would not be where I am today both career wise nor my desire to receive a degree in Computer Science. The PerlMonks community has done alot for me both professionally and personally (now I realize why it's called a monastery).

Thanks for reading this far and try to see what you can do.Oh yeah, here is the link where you can donate: Offering Plate.
