The problem is that the Filter property... is a property, not a method. 
$recordSet->Filter => $myFilter;

[download]
should be: 
$recordSet->{Filter} = $myFilter;

[download]
Also, it appears you're using the => operator incorrectly and you fatfingered $recordSet as $recordSer in your code.
