Or under Unix, you can put #!/usr/bin/perl (or whatever for your system) as the first line of your script.

See perlrun or buy any of the dozens of Perl books on the market that goes into introductory Perl topics. We definitely need more information to be able to help you. "How do you use Perl?" is impossible to answer.
