I want to update my modules on CPAN. So I figured that this was a good time to dive into Module::Build. Creating makefile.pl and build.pl files seems easy enough through Module::Starter (which I will joyfully use in place of 'h2xs' for its more appropriate name alone).

But I also want to release a ppd version of my modules on the CPAN. Others have already done this, although I know that some are complaining. ActiveState's reposits aren't exactly the pillar of reliability.

So I was wondering: Should I use Module::Build::PPMMaker or PPM::Make? I already have the former installed so I am more inclined to go with it but the scanty docs leave me worried. I haven't used M::B before or created a ppd file. Any good tutorials out there? Thanks.
