I am using DBD::CSV to compare csv files.

I have a csv file (5000 rows) of clients.
I have several search csv files (30,000-60,000 rows) to search

Currently

I use DBD::CSV to create tables for each of the csv files

I loop through an array of the clients to search for.
For each row in the client csv file I run a select query in each of the search csv files to look for a match.

This runs like a dog.

Any ideas on how can I speed things up?
Is there an easy/faster alternative to DBD::CSV?
Could it be quicker to search the search files one a time for all clients instead of running select commands on each search file for every client?

Any ideas? I have checked and there are no multiple connects in the loops anywhere.

Thanks in advance
