I would like to spread the Perl doctrine to the realm of the iPaq. But alas, the road is rocky. The first issue is to locate Perl that runs on the iPaq for development. The second issue is to locate a Perl cross compiler for the iPaq which runs on Intel Linux or Windows. The goal is to delevop a search engine for html pages on the iPaq (no web server running just a collection of files); sort of a grep on steroids. Then once done, we want to deploy the same code on Linux web servers with Apache.
