Greetings Monks,
Im looking for a tool similar to checkstyle . Although there is an perl style guide, i have found that with a team of programmars it is good to have a tool to check code against the style guide. I seek your wisdom in this respect. Some monks have suggested perltidy, but perltidy re-formats the code(or may be much more, i read just the docs)

In fact i plan to write a perl check style, if one does not exist, I have looked into the docs of checkstyle and found that it uses antlr to generate Abstract Syntax Tree, i would very much appreciate your wisdom on generating AST for perl.
