LinuxQuestions would have done something far worse to the person I called an idiot than call him an idiot. I already said that my words are nothing compared to what the person I called an idiot should get. He should get his post deleted (not reaped) at the very least. That would have happened on LinuxQuestions, and I'd therefore not need to call anyone an idiot.

Just for you, I'll be more specific in my recommendations. If someone calls someone an idiot or asshole, without giving a good explanation (I don't care who you have judge that, but if the wrong decision is made, I'll bitch about that too), that post should be deleted. There was no reason given by the person in this thread.

Petruchio said I would be censored from CB if I continue to defend myself. I just posted one long and two short CB messages to defend myself after a long series of unanswered attacks on me. People call me an idiot and they get upvoted, but I defend myself without any insults and I get threatened like that? It was the same BS as usual toward me in that CB conversation, and anything less than someone being on my side I'd hold against someone, and I'd take a threat of censorship as an insult.

I said FU to Petruchio after I'd announced that I'll be leaving Perlmonks. Give me whatever punishment you want. It doesn't matter.

In many cases, the majority of Perlmonks who've voted on a node of mine downvoted it when they knew very well that there was nothing wrong with it. It was obvious, and it was an insult for them to downvote me. I don't need to hear the words to be insulted. I've pointed out such posts like that in the past, and insulting those people as a group isn't the same as an insult toward me without any reasoning.

Almost nobody has complained about people insulting me or about the upvotes they get, and this has gone on long before the FU or any other name calling by me. Also, almost nobody complained about perfectly good posts of mine being downvoted. Even when I've acted nicely towards people who've insulted me and totally debunked their argument.

Tim Vroom is responcible for all of this. He allows the idiotic votes and insulting posts and says nothing. By calling Tim Vroom an asshole, I'm giving him much less severe treatment than he deserves, just like when I called that person from this thread an asshole. Again, that's what I was called first, and it's a totally different thing when the person clearly deserves it and you give a reason.
