Yesterday we had a couple of planned outage windows to do a disk upgrade in preparation for an operating system and database upgrade today.

PerlMonks will be down again today starting around 1pm EDT (17:00 GMT). Down time is expected to be about 20 minutes.

If this goes well, we'll be doing upgrades on the other PerlMonks servers after more testing, perhaps next week, though these will likely be less noticeable.

Update: The upgrade appears to have been completed successfully.
