Hi,

I've been asked whether there is a free or inexpensive plugin for Microsoft's Visual Studio that would handle Perl (perl 5.6 or higher). I did a quick google and could only find the $295 Visual Perl from Active State. The reason for the request is that the person develops in VB.net and C#. He would like to keep the same IDE if at all possible.. but not to the point of dishing out $295 out of his own pocket for a plugin. Now, I'm not entirely sure if he is only referring to the GUI IDE part or if he is talking more along the lines of perl.net.

Does anyone know of a plugin for VS that would make it more perl friendly?
