I just noticed that when I have a userpass (login) cookie for both perlmonks.org and www.perlmonks.org, and I load a perlmonks.org url, the www. cookie is being sent by Firefox. Is this clearly a browser bug? Is there a possibility that both cookies are being sent and just the less desirable one is returned first from $query->cookie? If the answer is yes, is there any way to determine which cookie was associated with which hostname? (I've never done anything non-trivial with cookies, so don't understand what info gets passed back and forth.)
