Hi

I am trying to install Win32 and Win32::Serialport through CPAN. I am using Perl version 5.8.4. I get the following error in the end

make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
/usr/bin/make -- NOT OK
Running make test
Can't test without successful make
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible

Why am I not able to install Win32? Thank you.
