The existing documentation needs reorganization; it's not clear what is `Syntax' rather than `Operators' or `Functions'. (If I knew how to do this, I would say so.) Right now the overall structure is flat; I think it might be a step forward if the documentation were simply divided into a few subdirectories called `Tutorials', `Internals', `Reference', `Social', and so on. Perl needs to come with better documentation browsing tools, and maybe more important, there needs to be a better search interface on the web. Better indexing of the exiting documentation would help to enable this.So I took a look at perldoc the utility, then I looked at perl.com's links to documentation and then I reviewed perldoc.com's effort and documentation, and I had trouble finding things to fix. Is my familiarity with Perl and it's documentation blinding me to obvious flaws? Do you feel the documentation needs "fixing"? And if so, what would you fix?
