do you guys know if there /will be|is/ a book about Perl6 Regex syntax?
The only book on Perl 6 that I'm aware of is Perl 6 and Parrot Essentials. It gives an overview of the new regexen in chapter 7 (Grammars and Rules). Apart from that, I found the book an interesting read and it's not expensive.

For more detail on Perl 6 regex syntax (nowadays called "Rules") see Larry's Apocalypse 5 and TheDamian's Exegesis 5 and Synopsis 5. If you want to play around with Perl 6 Rules today, install TheDamian's Perl6::Rules module.
