Let's say i have an xml document like this:

  <manufacturer>
    <name>Sony</name>

Now i want to embed the information that the TV is made by Sony. What would be the semantically correct way to do this?

• XLink governs how you insert links into your XML document, where the link might point to anything (e.g., a GIF file)
• XPointer governs the fragment identifier that can go on a URL when you're linking *to* an XML document, *from* anywhere (e.g., from an HTML file).
