IN REGARDS TO YOUR RESPONSE:
look i appreciate the help, but i dont want hash to hashes, hash to arrays, array to hashes, array to arrays, etc..
I WANT TO BE ABLE TO CONVERT 2 ARRAYS INTO 1 (1 + 1 = 1). THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS WHICH I AM NOT MENTIONING THAT COME INTO PLAY. IF YOU CAN HELP ME DO THAT I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT THANKS.
thanks for the help but perhaps i should have been more specific ( i want to push onto an array, which prevents eval from working:
my @tablenums = ('1', '2', '3');
my (@johnData, @mikeData, @harryData);
my %Tables = (
'1' => "john",
'2' => "mike",
'3' => "harry",
);
foreach (@tablenums){
push ( eval "\@${Tables{$_}}Data", any_data_goes_here);
}
...thanks again
