This is caused by looks_like_number(SV*), right?

Does this constitute a bug, is it backward compatible behaviour, or should people just refrain from using _ as a NOP in numbers?

update: OK, so it isn't a NOP, it's just syntactic sugar that doesn't do anything in a literal number, but you know what I mean..
