I can't comment on Mail::Box::POP3, as I haven't used it. I would suggest trying Mail::POP3Client. I've been successfully using it for quite some time now without any hassles. Here is the link: http://search.cpan.org/~sdowd/Mail-POP3Client-2.16/POP3Client.pm
