Esteemed brothers and sisters in perl,
I subserviently need you wisdom concering the question below. I searched trough the spacious CPAN with no effort.

Is there a module or a way that allows me to use formatted numbers for calculations? For example I need to 
$number = "100.000,23";  #->100000.23

print $number + $number; 
# prints 200.000,46       ->200000.46

In your wisdom, you surely understood that "," is the decimal-separator and the dots are used for formatting a-thousand-blocks.
