Thank you! Exactly what i was looking for!

So i created similar overloads for the other operators (-, *, /, **) that work fine.

But these do not: 
    #...
    '++' =>  sub 
    { 
        $num = ${$_[0]} + 1;
        return bless \$num, Number::Formatted;
    },
    '--' =>  sub 
    { 
        $num = ${$_[0]} - 1;
        return bless \$num, Number::Formatted;
    },
