If PM was to add a section devoted to system then it would eventually be force to add a section for CGI, then Templates, then File I/O, then looping, then data types, then ....
Despite PM not having this feature, and not needing to be bloated by it (IMHO), perldoc does. perldoc -f <funtion_name> will give the docs on most any function and perldoc -q <search_term> will cover a lot of the rest. So maybe what we really need is a section that has a single tutorial on how to use perldoc ;).
Update: I was kidding people. I don't think the monastery needs a section on perldoc, though if you look in Tutorials it already semi-exists.
