the reconfiguration is mainly the network config. i have done this many times and it's about 3 min. inc. reboot time (maybe less if you type fast).
shure you need physical access or at least a terminal server (thats what i have) to do this. but in a well managed lan, ip addresses should not change. so reconfiguration should only be necessary if you move the mashine to another location (for this you need physical access as well) or you are in a network for testing purpost.
but ok, after all this i admit, that there are situations possible, where the script is of use. but if you have the options, you should use sys-unconfig, since it's a system command and the coder of that command has access to internal information about solaris we non-Sun-mortals just don't have.
let's hope open-solaris is comming soon...
