I'm "use DBI"ing for a perl web application, and wondering if fellow monks have suggestions for the best practices regarding storing the DB password in a script.

Should it be...

I always have such a hard time finding best coding practices within Perl books or the Perl community. Maybe there is some repository for these that I haven't discovered yet.... Any comments would be appreciated!
