In a way this is my take on Perl is a black diamond language?, whilst reading the discussions it turned a cog that loosed a thought that had been stuck in my head since merlyn's birthday.

On a trip to the Zoo with my son, we stopped at the Llama enclosure, I read the blurb next to the enclosure, you know: warnings not to let children pet carnivores or "amazing furry facts" so rivetting you fail to notice your youngest being nibbled by something resembling a four legged emu.

Apparently Llamas are able to walk 15 minutes after being born.... that's not in the OReilly Llama book's colophon. Of all comparisons sited between Llamas, Perl and the book itself, I feel this is most apt especially of the Llama book.
