I have looked (quite hard) at Haskell, and as Autrijus has shown with Pugs, in the right hands and for the right type of project, it is an amazing language.Since when is Haskell less efficient than Perl? Maybe you need to try GHC.However, there are aspects of it--particularly relating to efficiency...
