hi,
right now i'm using activestate perl 5.8 on windows 2000 IIS5. basically executing perl scripts are done by the perl.exe interpreter.

Would it make any difference on the speed / efficiency of my scripts if it was to be run using PerlEX or Perl for ISAPI? Or even perhaps using mod_perl on Windows? Or APache on windows?

i want to know this because in the future when my perl skills get better, i'm planning to try and make database web-ications to serve thousands of people.

All I know is that PerlEx may be expensive, but if it really improves the speed of executing scripts then i'm for it in the future.

Also if I had to switch to one of these options, such as PerlEX, does that mean my coding will also need to be changed?
