I have a Windows box that I want to do some number crunching on so I just want to boot a Live Linux CD distribution, install a perl module or two quickly and off I go. I just tried
, but the latest version (3.8) only ships with Perl 5.8.4 and the modules I want to install rely on 5.8.6.
I haven't looked at the subtleties between 5.8.4 and 5.8.6 to see if the modules I'm installing (Graph which depends on Heap) actually 'require' those differences or I can just hack the module, but I'm trying to avoid that.
So if anyone knows a bootable linux distro that comes with 5.8.6 it would be much appreciated.
Regards Paul.
