I am surprised your first block of code makes it past the
LogInit function. You only export
LogIT, and not
LogInit, in your module. Try changing the export to:
@EXPORT=qw(LogInit LogIT);
I am puzzled you don't get an error message about not being able to call a method on an
undefined object, as opposed to a merely
unblessed reference. Do you still have a spare version of
LogInit lying around in your LSEUI.pl script /
main package that might be returning something else?
Hope this helps. If not, use
strict and
warnings in your code as a good first step to figuring out what's going wrong, as a previous poster suggests. Good luck!
