Hi all, I need to setup tow matches for a single file: file:

i need a regex to catch 5.97 and another for the 1 (last line) 
/^(\d+\.\d+)\|.*/;
$gref = $1;


         /^(\d)$/;
$type = $1;

although this doesnt appear to work? thanks
