This sounds like a job for the .. operator.

As described in the Perl Cookbook: 

while (<>){
   if (/BEGIN PATTERN/ .. /END PATTERN/){
      #line falls between BEGIN and END in the text.
   }
}

Just replace BEGIN PATTERN and END PATTERN as needed for your data.
