plus monks are usally well endowed with much wisdom - and hence knowledge, n'est pas?
also
the servers are required for mission critical dynamic db driven business web application, using perl, mysql. I am considering mod_perl for the future.
But we have tested that a single server running perl/mysql is better than putting the db on it's own server - for speed performance (tcp stack slow down). Hence the request for info on failover software...
the difficulty is where to purchase kit ??
who sells LAMP kit hardware and software ???????
