Divide it by itself, Hah ! no one will ever find it again.

In all seriousness who are you hiding it from ? Is this number a password or a key ? There are various crypto modules which are all based on 'maths functions' so any would satisfy that requirement. Do you mean do it using no modules ? Or with no non-core modules ?

How will someone find it again ? will you ask them for a password or are you hoping to obfuscate it within your code so no one looking at your code can find it again. If so you are really out of luck, search here for nodes about hiding code (often by compiling). The same issues will apply if you try to hide both the number and the key to unlocking it within the same bit of code.

Cheers,
R.
