Our very own davorg, already an elite ubergruppenfuhrer, will soon join the ranks of world-renowned, famous-author-type monks when his book, Data Munging with Perl, hits the stands.   Reliable sources expect this to happen around January 15th.

Anyway, the point o' this post is to suggest that the imminant tome be added to the Monasterial Gift Shop, yet spare davorg from any blatant self-promotion.
