I have been stuggling with a set of interconnected cgi applications. Very closely (possibly too closely) coupled, I wrote the application pretty rapidly and am now trying to clean it up a tad. I have noticed that the biggest 'mess' element is the in-line html. So I started to replace it with subs. I started to question the merit of this as I ended up with a whole pile of one line subs, which was of course worse than the original. I am therefore looking for advice as to ways to handle this.
If anyone knows of any packages that may help great! but I am also interested in the reasoning behind the decision. ATM I am putting the html back, if it aint broke dont completely screw it up and all that.
