Hello all,

I've just uploaded a greasemonkey script that replaces the chatterbox nodelet with a dynamic one (that uses XMLHttpRequest).

It still has some problems, most notably that it's probably not fully protected against cross-scripting attacks yet. Feedback is appreciated. You can check it out here.

Joost.

Update: tests show this script will run even simple javascript injections in the chatterbox. Please don't run this regularly unless you trust the people chatting :-) I am working on it.

Update2: I added some fixes that should help against XSS attacks, but it's possible that someone could break through them. I'm reasonably convinced they're safe though, let me know if you spot anything.

Update3: removed the counter from the statusline as Jaap reported blinking issues on win32. You can now also see the message inbox again, if it's not empty.
