Greetings Monk,

When i tried one script in hpunix, perl 5.005_03 and oracle, i get the following error...Anybody have any idea..

DBI->connect failed: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA +-12154 (DBD: login failed) at ********************************************************************** +*** Short Error: Could not connect to database Long Error: Could not connect to database Connect string: dbi:Oracle:naidsdbp - analysis - analysis Driver error follows: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12154 (DBD: login fa +iled) Driver Error: Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-12154 +(DBD: login failed) DBI Handle: ********************************************************************** +***

I think there is some problem in DBD::Oracle driver installation. This is say because when redirect the shebang line to another perl installation path with same modules installed it works fine..Can anybody throw some light on this error. I am very much thankful to them.
