I thought Great Code was only true in assembly...
Meant for someone else but not for me...
Segfaults were out to GET me
That was the way it seemed
Kernel Panics haunted all my dreams...

Then I saw my code... now I'm a believer..
not a trace... of C in my mind..
Now I use Perl, I'm a believer...
Could not write opcodes if I tried...

I thought Perl was more or less a cryptic thing...
Seem the more I wrote, the less it ran
What's the use in writin'?
Error at line 10...
And I was right back where I began...

Then I saw my code... now I'm a believer..
not a trace... of C in my mind..
Now I use Perl, I'm a believer...
Could not write opcodes if I tried...

Assembler rocks though.
