Dear Monks,
I have a file .txt where I write the name of a directory and then a bunch of letter preceded of a "/". The content of my file looks like:
C:\Documents and Settings\Claire\Desktop\ /LOG:fgf /L /XF doc /W:3 /R:10 /COPY:dtao /FP
Now, I do the following:
open (IN, "<command.txt");
while(<IN>){
@array = split '/';
}#while
close IN;
and the first element of my array is: /C:\Documents and Settings\Claire\Desktop\. Why is that? There is no "/" in front of "C:" in my file!!!
Anybody would like to tell me?
Thanks in advance for your time and help,
Claire
