I'm afraid I have a somewhat unusual request to make of those capable of granting it. I would like to lose 400-600 xp. To put things simply, I haven't been monitoring Perl as much as I used to, and I don't feel I deserve the upcomming promotion to Pontiff just because I have Perl Monks set as my home page (I keep getting the random + for visiting).

This is my first post since late 2004, just to put things in perspective. I must also confess, I don't even read the nodes on the front page very often anymore.

And so, I submit this request. I am not one who appreciates being raised above his true station, and in truth, I probably deserve an even greater reduction than I'm requesting.

Edit: Fixed a spelling error pointed out by halley. I may be out to lose XP, but I want to do so with appropriate spelling and grammar.

My code doesn't have bugs, it just develops random features.
