Also, it sometimes seems that the burden of applying patches falls unevenly on yourself; /me wonders why?

We all do our piece as time and availability allow I guess. Also part of the reason I was made a god was to make the patch application process more lively, so I guess its sort of my job. Anyway, ysth was made a god recently so now that there are three of us (tye applies patches too) who are actively applying patches to the site. Hopefully things will be more reactive going into the future.
