Hi,
I'm using Curses::UI and I can't get my program's main loop to work correctly.
The problematic position is ($cui is the Curses::UI instance):
while(1) {
# Do my stuff (e.g., constant screen updates)
$cui->do_one_event();
}
I can't use $cui->mainloop(), since that would run forever. I must have a main loop on my own, with the Curses::UI-event handling *AND* custom instructions, all done in the same iteration.
So I thought, do_one_event() would be the perfect solution. Unfortunately, this function waits for a key press every time. So, for example my screen never gets updated if I don't press a key all the time. I need this to work automatically, of course.
I hope you understood the problem and can give me a hint on this...
