Quite an old node....but you linked to it so i'm gonna ask anyway.

What in the world do you mean by multi-dimensional regex? Can you give some example of this in use? Your bitmap mention is interesting if you are thinking of storing an image as AoA and then running a regex agianst it. I can't even imagine the logic, but being able to build pattern recognition like that could be something out of this world. ;) Or it might be a heck of a lot hard to program than a trusty old NN or something like that. Dunno, still trying to wrap my head this.
