That seems like quite an unfair prejudice to me. :-( Why make such assumptions at all?
For myself, I make such assumptions based on my experience with Perlmonks and other fora. And I act on them: when I read a thread like this, I go through and downvote every reply by an anonymous poster. I don't read the nodes, mind you, I simply downvote them. And I shall continue to do this at every opportunity. (I began doing this about 10 months ago.)
I make no apologies whatsoever. The problem of Anonymous posting to Perlmonks is so severe, I feel, that I am thereby registering a protest against it being permitted, in the only way available to me.
Try living in the real world for a little while, and if that is impossible, I suggest that you take your crying
and moaning about "unfairness" somewhere that the kiddies care what you think. In the real grown up world
we have to contend with people hiding behind anonymity in order to behave badly without a negative effect on their
real-life reputation.
