I've searched high and low for tips on getting Crypt::DES working on Windows. I'm running ActiveStatePerl 5.8.7 build 813. If I try to install using ppm I get:

"Error: PPD for 'Crypt-DES.ppd' could not be found."

Then I saw something about downloading the tar and building the module using nmake.exe. I tried that, and get the following:

Any ideas? I'm pretty new to perl, but just trying to get this thing working I've learned a lot!!! it's been days! thanks! steve
