YAPC North America 2001 will be held June 13-15, 2001, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at McGill University. Registration begins February 1, and dorm rooms will be available for CAD 125 (about USD 85).

A call for participation has also gone out. Submissions for papers are due May 1, 2001. Abstracts should be submitted to na-author@yapc.org; limit to two paragraphs for lightning talks, and 300 words for other talks. The kinds of talks are Lightning Talks (five minutes), standard (20), long (45), extra-long (90), and tutorial (3 hours).
